This logo design project was completed for Republic TV, an English-language news channel based in India. The goal of this project was to create a bold, recognisable design which would be easily translate to news broadcasting, advertising and motion graphics. During this project, over 300 logo iterations were created before Republic TV settled on the bold red logotype.
In addition to the text based logo created for Republic TV, a letter logo was also created for use in situations where the company’s full name is not required. Variants of the original Republic logo were created to accommodate the various sub-organizations making up the channel.
